For the last few years I have been researching, with fellow poet Jane Spiro, the poetic and academic identities of poets who work in a range of different subject fields in Higher Education. Our article, Poet-Academics and Academic-Poets: Writing identities, practices and experiences within the Academy is the latest outcome from this research. It has just been published in Writing in Practice, Vol 3, March 2017 issue and is available via open access at http://www.nawe.co.uk/DB/current-wip-edition/editions/vol.-3.html

Sue Dymoke was a poet, Associate Professor in Education at Nottingham Trent University and a Fellow of the Royal Society for the Arts. What They Left Behind, her third full poetry collection was published by Shoestring Press in 2018. A posthumous collection, What to do Next, was published by Shoestring Press in 2023, when there was a memorial celebration of her life in University Hall, Nottingham.
