Dna Time was written by Sue Dymoke and Pietro Roversi. We discussed our experimental collaborative poem in the programme Recombinant Rhymes and DNA Art on Radio 4, on 25th February 2019 (16.00 -16.30). We hope you enjoy reading and listening. In this piece we offer suggestions for other ways that writers can explore and exploit patterns, letter combinations and omissions in their own work and in writing workshops. We would be very interested to hear from listeners and readers about their reactions and from writers of all ages who might be using these approaches to create new work themselves. We were delighted with the version of DNA Time produced by Nigel, the sound mixer, and with producer Anna McNamee’s clear explanations and insightful questions.
