Mother Tongue, Other Tongue Launches in London – News – Poetry Translation Centre.
This sounds like a brilliant poetry competition for young writers in Years 6 and 7 from all over the UK. They are invited to write, perform or remember poems in Arabic, Chinese, French, Polish, Turkish or Somali. The examples of poems on the site and the Polish poetry workshop for for 11 -16 year olds should also provide excellent stimulus for young writers to use their creative and linguistic skills this summer.
