Just gearing up for my open lecture for the Japanese Society of Teaching Japanese Spring Conference next weekend. The session will explore a range of pedagogical practices to inspire poetry writing and activities that you can use in your classroom. These will include mapping techniques, writing from different perspectives and writing Found poetry. We will be demonstrating a new Found poetry writing web resource currently under development.
I am looking forward to working with Japanese teachers once more and with colleagues Dr Yuka Nakai and Dustin Kidd from the University of Shimane who will translate for me. Available on YouTube live 9.30 – 12 noon BST Saturday 29th May (17.30 – 20.00 Japan Time). Use the QR code on the flyer to find the link.
