Poetry: Write, Read, Perform, Listen, Teach

Poetry Station App

The English and Media centre have a great new Poetry Station app which links to their Poetry Station website. I’ve had a look at it over the weekend and It looks extremely useful for teachers and students. The E&MC  want to explore the potential of the smart phone to interest young people in viewing poems on video in their own leisure time. The pilot app is now ready and is free to download from Apple’s App Store – just search under Poetry Station on the iPhone or iPad App Store. Or view on the iTunes store here. They would like to get some student feedback on the accessibility and appeal of this app and would be most grateful for comments on Twitter #pspoems and via their online questionnaire All student responses will be entered for a draw to win one of 10 £25 iTunes vouchers. http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/PSApp
