The Poetry Place exhibition is now open for viewing in Mansfield Central Library and looks fantastic! It has its own stylish gallery space with plenty of seating for those who want to look at the work for longer. It was great to finally meet, away from a Zoom screen, many of the poets whose work is featured in the exhibition at the Inspire Poetry Festival launch event and to hear some of their finished poems read aloud. Thanks to Alex, Angela, Gail, Janet, Lytisha, Rae and Sandy for their lovely readings and to all the Inspire team, especially Michelle Dunstan, for their hard work in bringing the poems and Inspire Picture Archive photographs together. The free exhibition is on the first floor of Mansfield Library until 31st October 2021 and will then tour Worksop, Retford, Arnold, Beeston and West Bridgford libraries until 2023. An online version of the exhibition will also be available very soon this month.
